A lifelong passion for creativity eventually led Heather to pursue a career in graphic arts. As a child, Heather preferred arts & crafts over building blocks, perfectly content with a giant pad of paper and a brand new box of Mr.Sketch markers. High School introduced Heather to Ms. Mason, who exposed her to the principals and elements of design. After graduating from Grant MacEwan's Visual Communication Design program in Edmonton AB, she finally found herself comfortably rooted in Marengo SK.
In 2003 Heather tragically lost her little sister, Lindsay, who was only 17 years old. Heather has channelled her grief into Seventeen Creative in memory of Lindsay. She is inspired every single day by her sister and the people (and animals!) in her life.
Heather's creative palette includes photographing, print designing, photoshopping, video making, picture painting and lately...flower planting.
